Rustler people are all ages and come from a wide variety of backgrounds however they all share a common interest in sailing quality boats. Some owners day sail in local waters while others regularly make passage for distance foreign shores.

With many boats away cruising during the summer months the associations social activities take place in the spring, autumn and winter months.The association holds a formal dinner in London during January to coincide with the London Boat Show. Regional rallies take place in the Spring and Autumn months and at other times groups of members get together for informal meetings to share information, loan charts or pilogate infomation and share experiences.

Twice yearly Rustler Ramblings, the association newsletter, is sent to all members. Members contribute to the magazine which is distributed either in printed format or as a pdf via e-mail. On-line members can also benefit from an active and entertaining discussion group which allows informal exchanges between members.
